Hi! My name is V. A. Sanchez and I am an indie author and artist. I have always been inspired by art and fictional stories which has lead me here. Awakening Fire is my first YA fantasy book and I've been so grateful to all of my readers.

My art started when I was very young. I took art classes in Russia when I was twelve. I didn't pick up painting again until I took two oil painting classes in college. I intermittently painted between 2016-2025. In the fall of 2025, I started acrylic painting and took a deeper dive into that medium. I've enjoyed making acrylic brush stokes and layers look like oils. I am excited for the next steps in building my art career dream.
